Dr. Joshua Nichting attended the University of Iowa for both undergraduate and medical degrees. His interests include whole life care from pediatrics through geriatrics, hospital medicine, endoscopy, and rural medicine. Joshua is currently one of four physicians in the Southern Colorado Family Medicine/Alamosa Rural Training Track Residency Program. He chose to continue his education at Southern Colorado Family Medicine/Alamosa RTT for the high-quality education in full-scope family medicine, including procedural opportunities like colonoscopy. He is enthusiastic about taking care of a broad, intersectional community in the San Luis Valley.
Outside of the clinic, his hobbies include snowboarding, watching (and traveling for) college football, the occasional video game and visiting family in Colorado Springs.
