Marcela Bird is originally from Argentina, but has lived in Colorado since the 90s. She has 8 years of experience as a critical care RN at major Denver hospital ICUs and step-down ICUs caring for patients with all kinds of acute and chronic medical conditions. Marcela is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate medical care to every one of my patients. She strives to empower patients to become active participants in their own care by providing positive encouragement and accessible education.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Marcela is experienced in treating patients of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. She especially enjoys the challenge of managing chronic disease processes and women’s health.
In her free time, Marcela enjoys practicing yoga, spending time outdoors in nature, and being with her pug, Luna.
