With pride and excitement, we are celebrating our 40th anniversary this year. In 1976, Valley-Wide Health Services, Inc. was formed and the first two primary care clinic sites were established in Antonito and Alamosa. We have had a strong history of growth and innovation. We are now known as Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. and provide primary care services at twelve health centers, oral health services in seven sites, physical therapy at four clinics and are working to integrate behavioral health in our primary care sites. We are recognized for making health care services available for agricultural workers at their work places.
Our mission statement reflects our passion to make high quality, safe, effective and integrated health care services available to all persons in the communities that we serve with special consideration for medically underserved populations. We strive to provide these services in a respectful and inclusive manner to all of our patients.
As we look to our future, we intend to continue to grow and to strengthen our delivery system. We have a focus on quality integrated health services. We will continue to serve all who come to us and we will continue to meet the needs of the medically underserved. Our employees are dedicated and committed to our mission.
