Cancer has touched many of us in some way, so we decided to fight back by raising funds and walking in our local American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event that is scheduled for Friday, July 8th from 6 p.m. – midnight. This year the event will be held at the Alamosa High School.
As a team, we are taking action to help eliminate cancer as a major health problem. At our Relay event, we will take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society in their lifesaving mission. Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, one dollar at a time.
Valley Wide Health Systems Inc., is dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer by participating as a cooperate sponsor. This year our team has raised $3,651 and together with 15 teams and 104 participants we will continue to raise funds through the night.
