The Guadalupe Health Center (GHC) in Antonito, Colorado, is excited to announce the arrival of a new full-time family practice nurse practitioner. Vanessa Zwegers will provide health care to patients of all ages, working with her fellow Valley-Wide Health Systems providers to create a “medical home” for all patients. She is happy that physical therapy services are also available at the clinic for the convenience of patients who need such care.
Vanessa recently moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania. Vanessa graduated from the Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania with the degree of Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013. She also earned a Bachelor of Science, Nursing, from the Robert Morris University School of Nursing. She has worked in the hospital setting, in departments including an Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and Emergency Departments.
