This year’s 27th annual Share the Magic was a huge success netting $64,000 benefiting La Puente Home, Inc.
Adams State University Theatre Program, La Puente and Valley-Wide partnered to provide a beautiful reception with lavish food, beverages and desserts as well as entertainment featuring the PALs program choral ensemble and the ASU Theatre Holiday Play, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. The Community rallied this one evening on December 2nd, and we shared compassion and support to help the less fortunate while enjoying wonderful entertainment and good company.
La Puente has won national acclaim for their care and positive programs for the unfortunate. They service the San Luis Valley providing emergency shelter, food assistance, transitional housing, self-sufficiency services, homeless prevention, community outreach services, and job training for the homeless and other community members in crisis. La Puente endeavors to meet immediate needs and to empower people to live independently, with dignity.
