Valley-Wide Health Systems is pleased to announce John H. Andrews as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who joined the organization July 2026.
John brings more than four decades of progressive experience in non-profit health care, non-profit affordable housing, education, payments, business services, teleservices, technology, and consumer products industries to Valley-Wide.
Throughout the last 12 years, Andrews has focused his career on mission-driven nonprofit organizations dedicated to serving populations in need and strengthening their communities. His experience spans the health care and affordable housing sectors, including leadership roles with Circle the City, Hushabye Nursery, Arizona Housing, Inc. and North Country Healthcare, Inc.
With a career grounded in financial leadership and service to mission-driven organizations, John looks forward to bringing his experience to Valley-Wide while building upon the organization’s strong foundation and commitment to the communities it serves.

As Valley-Wide celebrates 50 years of improving access to health care and providing services that meet the needs of communities throughout southern Colorado, John will play an important role in supporting the organization’s continued strength and growth. As CFO, he will provide strategic leadership and oversight of Valley-Wide’s financial operations, helping ensure the organization remains financially strong and well-positioned to fulfill its mission. He will work closely with Valley-Wide’s Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and staff to support responsible growth, operational excellence, and the continued delivery of high-quality health care services throughout the communities we serve.

Andrews holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and has completed numerous executive education programs, including the Stanford Financial Management Program.
Outside of his professional work, John is deeply devoted to his family and values spending time with his two daughters, grandsons, and their families. A lifelong learner with a wide range of interests, he enjoys exploring history, geography, technology, science, and Eastern religion and spirituality. John also has a passion for the outdoors and stays active through mountain biking, hiking, camping, snow skiing, boating, scuba diving, and snorkeling. Music is another important part of his life, and in his free time, he enjoys playing the keyboard, bass, and guitar. His passion for family, learning, music, and the outdoors reflects his curiosity, enthusiasm, and appreciation for new experiences.
