Valley-Wide Health Systems is pleased to announce that, Dental Hygienist, Randy Tenney, RDH, has joined our dental practice. He will work at both our Edward M. Kennedy Dental Clinic in Monte Vista and at our Center Dental Clinic.
Randy earned his B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He is currently pursuing a M.S.
in Healthcare Administration at Grand Canyon University. Randy brings a wide range of experience to his new position, having worked in many different clinic settings in Arizona and Colorado.
He specializes in treating periodontal disease and has written articles concerning periodontal disease and its link to overall health. Randy stresses the importance of scheduling periodic dental visits to ensure that patients’ oral health as well as their overall health is good.
Randy has excellent patient education and counseling skills. As a dental hygiene lecturer and clinic instructor at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely Randy was able to help individual students reach their professional goals and to create public health programs that benefited the local community and beyond. Randy looks forward to serving the San Luis Valley community.
