Family Nurse Practitioner Vanessa Walker Zwegers has recently joined our Guadalupe Health Center in Antonito. Vanessa recently moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania. She will see the full age-range and scope of patients, and looks forward to joining the Valley-Wide team in support of our mission.
Vanessa graduated from the Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania with the degree of Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013. She also earned a Bachelor of Science, Nursing, from the Robert Morris University School of Nursing. She has worked in the hospital setting, in departments including an Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and Emergency Departments.
Vanessa belongs to the professional organization American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and also to Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society of Nursing.
