Dana Carvey believes where empathy meets strategy, real change begins. After a decade of running a successful small business, Dana made a life-changing decision to return to graduate school and dedicate the remainder of her career to helping people improve their well-being. A choice that came from a deeply held belief in the importance of accessible, relationship-based care. Dana says that becoming a mental health clinician has been one of the greatest gifts of her life. She loves being able to practice in the medical field because it provides her with the opportunity to work with patients at all stages of life, particularly driven by her passion for working with the geriatric population.
Dana and her husband recently relocated to Buena Vista. A place where she could align her professional values with her personal ones – rooting herself in a close-knit, nature-rich community where she can make a meaningful contribution. The mountains were calling, so here they are! Dana has a lifelong obsession with live music and is elated to have multiple venues only a bike-ride away. She loves all things nature-related from hiking, biking, and rafting to staring at the stars while soaking at Cottonwood Hot Springs or taking pictures of red-tailed hawks while they’re on the hunt. She is incredibly thankful that moving to the breathtaking state of Colorado feels like coming home.
