Dr. Claire Reed has committed over 30 years to the medical field, with the last 14 years dedicated to working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). She believes that family medicine is designed to provide a comprehensive, holistic, long-term model of care that is integrated and patient centered. Her primary goal is to empower patients with the knowledge they need to make informed health decisions and collaborate with them to achieve their health goals. Dr. Reed has gained experience in all areas of Family Medicine including OB, hospital, ER, urgent care, Hospice and nursing home care. In addition to providing patient care, she has also served as Chief Medical Officer. Her interests are focused on patient education, women’s health, hospice care, and medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD).
Dr. Reed was born in Malawi, lived in Canada, Australia, South Africa and Great Britain before coming to the states where she’s lived in Texas, Kansas, Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Colorado. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a doctor. She announced it at age 4 and never changed her mind. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Reed loves to read, craft and spend time with her family. She also enjoys listening to 80s music, going to concerts, watching college sports and rooting for the Green Bay Packers.
