Malyka Media is dedicated to delivering the same quality of care to every patient as she would wish for her own family. She believes that healthcare and pharmacy extend beyond just medications; it’s also about listening, building trust, and making sure patients feel heard, respected, and involved in their care. Malyka’s goal is to offer compassionate, evidence-based care, collaborating with each patient to develop a personalized plan that aligns with their lifestyle, leaving them feeling informed, supported, and confident in their health. Her interests particularly focus on chronic disease management.
Growing up in the rural town of Monte Vista, Colorado, inspired her passion for health care. Witnessing family members cope with conditions like Type 1 Diabetes, Hypertension, and COPD motivated her to pursue a career as a pharmacist. Her goal is to help others improve their quality of life and feel empowered to manage chronic conditions. The most rewarding aspect of her job is building meaningful relationships with her patients and ensuring they know they have a supportive ally in their journey.
Outside of work, Malyka enjoys fishing, especially ice fishing, traveling, spending quality time with her partner, their dog and family, shopping, and collecting Pokémon. During football season, you can find her passionately supporting the Las Vegas Raiders! She is also a Denver Nuggets fan and coached for their youth program the year they won the championship. If she wasn’t a pharmacist that is what she would be doing – coaching sports and mentoring. Fun fact: Malyka and her high school sweetheart will celebrate a decade together in October 2026.
