Peer Support Services

At Valley-Wide Peer 128, we offer a safe and comfortable place for anyone who may be struggling with being overwhelmed, stressed, or having feelings of hopelessness.

Clients will have a safe place to talk, while also having the support from peers who have experienced similar struggles as them. Peer specialists help individuals reduce stress and isolation, improve skills, promote positive self-esteem, build support networks, and connect with community resources.

Our Peer Specialists offer clients:

  • Support and help with decision-making and setting boundaries
  • Access to computers
  • Links to community resources to aid with housing, employment, and other needs
  • A caring, nonjudgmental ear and shoulder to lean on
  • Connect to a wide range of behavioral health programs, services, and resources through the peer enrollment process
Recovery is a personal journey that enhances hope through positive relationships, empowerment, and a secure sense of self and social inclusion. Sometimes it takes the advice and guidance of others who have gone through what you have in order to move forward with recovery.
