Counseling Services
Our Valley-Wide Counseling & Support Center offers behavioral health services to all ages with a patient-centered approach that includes:
- Screening and assessment
- Group, individual, and family counseling
- Substance misuse treatment
- Trauma Informed Care
- Help with anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship difficulties, family interactions, behavioral disruptions, and other behavioral health concerns
- Skill building such as anger management, communication skills, and emotional regulation
- Evidenced-based practices to meet personal goals
- Medication services
Or other concerns like:
- Parenting
- Youth/Adolescent issues
- Relationship issues
- Grief
We also offer EMDR and Acudetox.
Peer Support Services
At Valley-Wide Peer 128 we offer a safe and comfortable place for anyone who may be struggling with being overwhelmed, stressed or having feelings of hopelessness.
Clients will have a safe place to talk, while also having the support from peers who have experienced similar struggles as them. Peer specialists help individuals reduce stress and isolation, improve skills, promote positive self esteem, build support networks and connect with community resources.
Our Peer Specialists offer clients:
- Support and help with decision making and setting boundaries
- Access to computers
- Links to community resources to aid with housing, employment, and other needs
- A caring nonjudgmental ear and shoulder to lean on
- Connect to a wide range of behavioral health programs, services, and resources through the peer enrollment process
Recovery is a personal journey that enhances hope through positive relationships, empowerment, and a secure sense of self and social inclusion. Sometimes it takes the advices and guidance of other who have gone through what you have in order to move forward with recovery.
