Mandy Joiner’s philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, respect and a deep commitment to serving her community. As a Nurse Practitioner, she believes that quality healthcare goes beyond treating illness – it involves building meaningful relationships, understanding each patient’s unique story, and supporting them throughout their health journey. Having spent much of her career in a rural setting, Mandy values the importance of accessibility, trust, and continuity of care. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their health. She is especially passionate about preventive care and managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, helping patients make sustainable lifestyle changes that improve their overall well-being. Above all, she’s dedicated to providing care that is compassionate, patient-centered, and grounded in trust.
Mandy chose a career in the medical field because she is deeply committed to supporting the health and wellness of her community. She finds great fulfillment in building relationships with her patients and being part of their individual health journeys, celebrating their growth and progress along the way. Mandy’s areas of clinical interest and expertise include rural and community health, primary care for patients of all ages, chronic disease management, health promotion and preventive care, patient education and empowerment, and geriatric care.
Outside of her professional role, Mandy is a proud mother of five grown children and a grandmother to two beautiful baby girls. She has a strong love for the outdoors and takes every opportunity to go fishing, hiking, camping, and hunting, or simply enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature. Mandy is actively involved in her community as a coach for the Special Olympics Eastern Colorado Dragons, volunteer for community activities, and assisted as deputy coroner. In her free time, she enjoys watching all sports and loves live music and dancing, attending live games and concerts whenever she can. Spending time with family is also very important to her.
