Originally, from San Luis, CO, Alexis has always dreamed of living near her family in rural Colorado practicing Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, she aims to treat patients with kindness, compassion, and an understanding of their individual needs. She believes it is essential to remember that patients are individuals, and when they are unwell or in pain, their loved ones are affected too. Alexis is committed to recognizing each patient’s unique situations, educating both patients and their families, and providing high-quality care. As she continues to grow in her profession she would like to continue her education in Vestibular Therapy, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, Dry needling, more advance Manual therapy, and Chronic Pain.
Alexis enjoys working with patients not only because it gives her an opportunity to assist them with pain and discomfort they are experiencing, but it also allows her to interact and learn more about who they are as individuals.
Outside of the work, Alexis enjoys rooting for her favorite sports team the Dallas Cowboys. She loves her Pug, Baeudy, and if she could spend the day with anyone it would be her two sisters who mean the absolute world to her.
