Originally from Alabama, Ericka Keyton believes in Valley-Wide’s mission and looks forward to making the needs of the community and patients her top priority. She has over 12 years of experience working in the mental health field beginning her journey as a Mental Health Technician at a High-Risk adolescent residential facility recently serving as a therapist. Ericka also has experience working in a hospital setting in the behavioral health unit as an activity’s therapist, group counselor and social worker. Her areas of expertise include crisis intervention and substance abuse.
Ericka emphasizes patient-centered care and adopts a strengths-based perspective in every situation. With a holistic approach, she recognizes that an individual’s environment, family, and friends all contribute to who they are. Ericka believes that any person on any given day can be one phone call away from needing someone to pick them up. She is committed to being a resource for those facing difficult times.
