Valley-Wide Health Systems is pleased to offer the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) as one of our special programs through NYU Langone Health. The mission of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry is to provide dental education and training for General Dentists in an accredited residency program while they live and work in a rural Colorado community. Residents can expect to experience one-on-one training with faculty at 4 different clinic sites, enabling them to gain experience with a myriad of different dental procedures, techniques, and conditions that are unique to a rural setting. Digital scanners, LaboMed Magna microscope, and implant restoration kits are some of the unique technologies Valley-Wide has to offer its residents. Residents will have the opportunity to treat a diverse population of patients, many of which are medically compromised and live in an underserved location.
