Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the purchase of the Baker & Biggs building at 531 Main Street in downtown Canon City. Valley-Wide plans to remodel the former bank into a modern health care clinic, replacing its existing Fremont Family Medical Center, located near the hospital. The new clinic will house family medicine, dentistry and behavioral health services, as well as integrated case management and care coordination services. This building will serve the community well with its convenient location and ample parking, and the clinic will contribute to the vitality of the downtown area. Valley-Wide is now seeking funding to remodel the Baker & Biggs building. It is anticipated that the project will be completed within two years.
