Nancy Panter, MD/FACOG
Dr. Nancy Panter works at our La Junta Clinic. Her main focus is supporting general practitioners in the care of women. She hopes to bring valuable Obstetrics and Gynecological care to all of Valley-Wide’s Arkansas Valley clinics by providing minimally invasive gynecological surgery, care of adolescents, and treatment of menopause. Dr. Panter chose La Junta for it’s charming community, and she is looking forward to serving the patients and families of Southern Colorado.
Dr. Panter enjoys being an OB/GYN because of the variety of work to do. Sometimes she’s involved in helping families grow or managing a crisis. She also gets to teach and support wellness in all women. Her decision to pursue a career in medicine came about as a combination of her interest in high-level decision-making, distribution of healthcare resources, and blending science-based care with patient relationships.
In her free time, Dr. Panter travels to Denver to spend time with her 3 grandchildren and her brother. She also loves to spend time with her rescued Lab Retriever, Lottie.
