Many think of health (the dictionary included) as only the absence of illness or injury, but we at Valley-Wide Health Systems have a grander vision of what health can be.
Wherever a community pulls together to grow in positive ways, it is health. Team work–combining skill sets and diverse experience to reach a common goal–is also health. Health includes the inspired effort of communities to rise to challenges, support the growth of all its members, or simply gather together to enjoy life.
It is in this spirit that Valley-Wide is growing the meaning of health in the communities we serve. Over the past year Valley-Wide has begun work on a new facility in Canon City which will combine medical, dental, and mental health services all under one roof. Working as a team, providers from each specialty will offer a “whole person” approach to health while increasing the access to and affordability of care for all community members.
By contributing, you can be our partner in expanding health in your community. Donations will be used to renovate and transform a large vacant building in Canon City’s historic main street business district into a state-of-the-art medical facility.
