In a recent team building project to support their clients, the Nurse Family Partnership Team put together gift bags for new mothers celebrating their first Mother’s Day in May.
The highlight of the bags was a brown sugar foot scrub that the team made by hand. The bags also included the foot scrub recipe to make more, as well as a reflexology chart with a ball.
“We created 100 bags as a gift to our new or expectant mothers who will be celebrating Mother’s Day for the first time in May,” explained Greta Roberts, Director of the Nurse Family Partnership Program. “This was a great team building exercise. We are excited for the moms to get these gifts.”
The Nurse Family Partnership Program provides personal nurses to mothers pregnant with their first babies. The nurses provide support, advice, and information to the new mothers.
