Valley-Wide Health Systems is pleased to announce the commencement of renovations at 531 Main St. in Cañon City. Crews begin working on Wednesday. The finished product will be a 15,800 square foot, integrated health care clinic that offers medical, dental, and behavioral health services in the heart of Cañon City’s historic downtown area.
“We are excited to get this project underway and are more excited for what it will bring to the Fremont County community,” said Joe Aldrich, Valley-Wide’s Construction Manager.
The project is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2019. Valley-Wide currently operates at 602 Yale Place in Cañon City.
Copestone General Contractors will oversee the work completed on the project. The Colorado Springs based firm has overseen the completion of dozens of projects, including several in the medical and dental industries.
“This new facility will not only serve the health care needs of Fremont County but will also provide a positive economic impact through new jobs and services in the downtown area,” noted Aldrich.
Valley-Wide will be hosting a ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony later in May that will be open to the public with pizza provided. Details will be coming at this site, on Facebook at Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. and in the Cañon City Daily Record.
