The COVID-19 vaccination is still in limited supply. We are currently providing vaccinations to those in the Colorado Phase 1A and those “above the dotted line” in Phase 1B. (Please see the diagram of the distribution phases below for more details.) This includes high- and moderate-risk health care workers and first responders, as well as individuals age 70 and above. Those in long term care facilities are scheduled to receive vaccinations in January as well.
Please continue to wear a mask and avoid gatherings, as it will take time for vaccinations to be made available to all who wish to be vaccinated. Vaccinations are intended to prevent COVID-19 illness, but it is untested how well the vaccines may prevent the virus from spreading from one person to another.
As of Monday, January 4, 2021, we are not currently vaccinating anyone in the Phase 2, or Phase 3 risk groups. As soon as we are able to provide vaccination for these groups, we will announce it on our website and social media channels. Please be patient with our staff as we navigate this vaccine rollout.
*According to the CDPHE, the vaccination timeline is subject to change based on the supply chain. Prioritization subject to change based on data, science, and availability.
