Barbara Troy, MD has recently joined our Alamosa Family Medical Center after working in Family Practice in a rural setting in the Espanola, New Mexico area. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and will bring a broad and diverse skill set to our patients. Dr. Troy will see the full age-range and scope of patients, and looks forward to joining the clinic team and in working in support of the Valley-Wide mission.
Dr. Troy graduated from the Ross University School of Medicine and the University of New Mexico – Santa Fe Residency Program. She has a special interest in promoting health education in the medical setting as well as the broader public health arena. Dr. Troy is committed to community service locally and has also served as a volunteered on a medical team in an underdeveloped Caribbean country, Dominica, West Indies.
