We are proud to announce that Jill Hollar, FNP-BC, Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined our La Junta Clinic!
Jill attended Graceland University based in Independence, Missouri and graduated in May 2015 with a Master’s in Nursing, with a specialty in Nurse Practitioner-Family Practice. Jill earned an associate’s degree as a Registered Nurse from Otero Junior College in 1998 and she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2010.
Jill Hollar, FNP-BC
Jill has worked for Valley-Wide as a registered nurse since 1998 in the Las Animas, La Junta and Rocky Ford clinics. She became Director of Nursing for the Arkansas Valley Division in 2002. In 2010 Jill stepped down to become Assistant Director of Nursing so that she could further her education.
I grew up in Mexico as my parents were Missionaries. I was able to learn to read, write and speak Spanish. I was a single (divorced) parent to three children when I became a registered nurse and continued to my Bachelor’s. I am married to Andy Hollar (from Hollar Seeds in Rock Ford) and with his support I have achieved my final goal as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I live in Rocky Ford and have no plans to leave the area. I love to read, sing, play the piano, listen to music, walk, do yard work and travel.
