We are proud to announce that Kara Howard, Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined our La Junta Clinic. Kara earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee in August 2014, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree at Indiana University.
Kara is fluent in Spanish (spoken and written). She served as a Community Health Volunteer in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Kara has worked at health centers similar to Valley-Wide in both Tennessee and Colorado. She will care for patients of all ages.
Kara believes in the power of proactive healthcare to
reduce illness and promote healthier families and communities.
