Introducing to our Moffat Family Health Center
Originally from Oklahoma, Dr. Loftin relocated to Buena Vista with her husband and two sons in 2011. For three years she has worked at a family medicine clinic owned by the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC). Prior to that Dr. Loftin worked at the HRRMC and St. Vincent Hospital in Leadville.
Dr. Loftin was in private practice for eight years in Oklahoma.
She has also practiced medicine at a Cherokee Nation health center in Stilwell, Oklahoma and with a family medicine practice in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Dr. Loftin earned her medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and did her internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas. She completed her residency in family medicine with the Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Residency Program in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The AHEC program serves as the main educational outreach of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and helps train physicians and other healthcare professionals to serve in rural areas.
Dr. Loftin is board certified in Family Medicine, and will see a full scope of patients including infants and children.
