Celeste Cardenas has been working in the substance abuse field for 23 years and in mental health for 13 years. She enjoys the change process and helping clients meet their goals for emotional, mental and physical wellbeing. She believes that each individual can make changes, learn skills to better cope with daily stressors, develop healthy relationships and reach their goals. Each person can find balance in their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual being, to have the life they want. Celeste’s areas of clinic interest and expertise include Substance Use Disorders and DUI. She teaches coping skills and grounding skills and uses tapping, basic EMDR, and somatic therapy in her practice.
Originally from the La Junta area, Celeste recently moved back to be with her family. She enjoys working out, especially Zumba in her free time.
