Cheyenne Atencio understands that there is a stigma surrounded by receiving mental health services, and she is passionate about providing others with a space where they feel safe and heard. She believes that clients should have access to affordable mental health care and is excited to be a part of the Valley-Wide team! Cheyenne has experience working with clients ages 8-55 and predominantly worked with clients that are experiencing anxiety and depression. She is especially interested in lifespan and development as well as trauma informed care.
Cheyenne grew up in Antonito, CO. She enjoys working with adolescents, and if she didn’t choose a career path in the behavioral health field she would have been a teacher. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Summer is her favorite season because some of her favorite hobbies include fishing, hiking and riding ATV’s. Cheyenne also enjoys traveling and listening to music.
