Jennifer Johnson has a passion for helping others. She finds fulfillment in making a positive impact on individuals’ lives by supporting them on their journey towards better mental health. Her foundations of care are grounded in a humanistic approach that prioritize the unique individuality and potential growth in every client. She believes in fostering a genuine and empathetic therapeutic relationship, where clients feel valued, heard, and understood.
Jennifer incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) in her practice. By integrating these modalities, she strives to empower clients to navigate their challenges, cultivate self-awareness, and achieve meaningful personal transformation. Jennifer has experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, children and adolescents as well as the LGBTQ community.
Jennifer grew up all over Colorado, and now provides services via telehealth, but has always appreciated the peaceful and tranquil lifestyle that comes with a rural area. Outside of work, she loves going to the movies where she can experience the magic of storytelling on the big screen, spending quality time with her family and friends creating precious moment, and enjoying time with her pets who bring her immense happiness.
