Jeremy takes a person-centered method to his work, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and a Humanistic approach into his care plans. Jeremy says his goal as a therapist is to provide you with a safe space, meet the patient where they are, and walk alongside them on their journey to mental wellness. He says the most critical step in a therapeutic relationship is establishing a good rapport – that way patients can feel comfortable enough to open up. Jeremy specializes in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and life transitions for patients of all ages.
Jeremy says he chose to work in behavioral health because of the support systems he had in life, and the exposure he received to behavioral mental health while growing up. He was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and moved to Alamosa in 2016 to pursue his education. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, movies, music, video games, and mediation.
