Jessica Medina felt a calling to help people live their best lives and find their way through tough and dark times, which led her to a career in the behavioral health field. Each person has a unique story to tell and she works to allow them the safe space to share their knowledge and experience. Through a patient-centered approach, with empathy and understanding, Jessica helps people process their emotions and find their own path to healing and wellness. She enjoys working from a strength-based perspective that builds the client’s self-efficacy. Finding her client’s strengths and nourishing their passions to improve their outlook is rewarding to her. Jessica has experience working with children and adolescents. One thing that she loves most about working with her clients is the opportunity to process emotions through playing and having fun.
Jessica is originally from Denver, but moved to rural Colorado to raise her four children and get out of the crowded city. Now that her children are all adults, she finds that rural life is far superior and she enjoys traveling to visit them and her grandchildren. Outside of work, her favorite thing to do is read and play games.
