Kristin grew up on the northeastern plains of Colorado before moving to southern Colorado for more diversity. She believes that everyone has a journey in life and sometimes it leads us to things that make us uncomfortable or cause trauma that feels unbearable. Being able to sort these kinds of things out and find peace within the universe makes us well within ourselves. She also believes that the mental health system can treat the whole person by finding resources and skills to help individuals through, and stay in their wellness. Kristin’s areas of expertise and clinical interest include assertive community treatment, long-term care, pain management, forensic, telehealth and EMDR.
Outside of work, Kristin loves to spend time with her family and travel. She goes to Disney Parks and on cruises as much as possible!
