Laura Martin has been a nurse for over 30 years, and has gathered experience in many areas including Emergency Medicine, teaching other nurses, and home healthcare. Laura was born in Alamosa, grew up in the San Luis Valley, and has always considered this to be home despite living and working in the Navajo Nation, Longmont, Cortez/Durango and Denver. Laura decided to return to practicing in the San Luis Valley; growing up here and her healthcare experience led her desire to serve where the need for providers is greatest.
Laura has three adult children, eight grandsons, and two granddaughters. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, camping, fly fishing and horseback riding.
