Florence High School graduate, Marissa Rowell liked going to the dentist to get her teeth cleaned during her childhood, thanks to an exceptional dental hygienist who inspired her to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. She strives to provide compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based oral health care while respecting and actively listening to each patient as a unique individual. Marissa believes oral health is an essential component of overall health and well-being. In her role as a Dental Hygienist, she focuses on promoting, preventing, and educating to enhance her patients’ quality of life. With nearly 15 years of experience in the dental profession, she enjoys forming personal connections with her patients and finds fulfillment in helping patients overcome dental fear.
In her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, and working out. If she did not have a career in the dental field, she would love to work in interior design .
