While living overseas with her active duty husband, Megan stumbled upon a radio commercial for needed Red Cross Dental Volunteers and decided to quit her job a go for it! She found her passion while serving others and returned to the states to enter dental hygiene school. Megan describes her philosophy of care with this quote by Maya Angelou, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” With over 5 years of dental hygiene experience, her goals are to empower her patients with education, understanding, and encouragement in order to improve quality of life through good dental health.
Megan was born in Ft. Carson to two Army Majors who instilled a strong work ethic and responsibility to serve others. She lost her brother, a Combat Engineer in the Marine Corps on his third tour in Iraq. Outside of work, Megan enjoys doing DIY projects with her husband Bobby on their tiny house, or playing with their daughter, Susie. They moved to the Buena Vista area to escape the exhaustive, fast-paced grind of the city life for family focused, laid back lifestyle.
