Patrick understands that asking for help can be difficult, but it is never a sign of weakness. Whether clients are feeling hurt, lost, depressed, anxious, or confused over a major life transition, he can help them meet goals and make positive changes they want to see in their lives.
Patrick has experience working with anxiety, ADHD, depression, OCD, PTSD, self-esteem, stress and substance abuse. He has predominantly worked with adults ages 18-64 and the LGBTQIA+ community. Patrick works through a cognitive-based lens, meaning he believes one’s perceptions influence one’s emotions, behaviors, choices, attitudes, and actions. In addition, he emphasizes semantics and pragmatics. He says, “Language is central to our experience of being human. The words we use profoundly shave our thinking and change our perceptions of ourselves, others, and the world around us.”
Apart from mental health, Patrick enjoys learning about the cosmos and quantum physics, stargazing, traveling, listening to dance music, attending music festivals, advocating for animal rights, and spending time with the important people in his life. He aspires to obtain a PhD in Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience.
