Iowa native Dr. Robert Weissinger was raised in a medical family and discovered his passion for healthcare early on by witnessing the fulfillment his father, a surgeon, experienced while caring for patients. He believes that the goal and foundation of medical care lies in fostering collaboration among individuals. Dr. Weissinger values authenticity, credibility, and education, aiming to empower and guide patients in reaching their health goals. He is dedicated to building trustworthy relationships with patients and finds great satisfaction in being a small part of their journeys. His areas of expertise and clinical interests include general family medicine, with a focus on prevention, as well as hospice and palliative care to ensure comfort, quality, and dignity during life’s final stages.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Weissinger enjoys spending time outdoors, fly fishing and camping. He and his partner made the move to Colorado to be closer to their family who live in the Colorado Springs area, although Colorado has always been a recreational location for them.
