Teresa Jones, LPC
Teresa believes every patient should be treated with the utmost respect, dignity, dedication, and commitment as if they were a family member or friend. She has trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment and other modalities. Teresa enjoys learning new things related to counseling. She chose to become a behavioral health provider due to her own experiences with counselors who helped her through difficult times and helped restore her self-confidence and self-compassion.
Teresa is bilingual (Spanish-English). She loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also loves hiking and exploring the Rocky Mountains with her family and two dogs. Teresa was born and raised in Jalapa, Veracruz in Mexico, and came to the San Luis Valley in 1989; she married and raised two children here. She feels she was meant to live and practice in the San Luis Valley. Teresa says dark chocolate is life!
