On Wednesday February 17, 2016 Valley-Wide Health Systems participated in a South East Regional Pandemic Drill/Exercise with the State of Colorado.

La Junta Clinic (LJC), Las Animas Clinic (LAC) and Rocky Ford Clinic (RFC) demonstrated their ability to coordinate emergency response procedures to ensure and maintain health and medical services with local Healthcare Coalition via e-mail, 800mHz radios and teleconferencing. At the Administrative Building an Internal Incident Command was set-up and communicated with the LJC, RFC and LAC.

We learned to share information in a timely manner, set up public messaging, share supplies and monitor patient outbreak so all facilities can work efficiently together for the health care needs of the communities we service.
