The month of October is Physical Therapy Month. What exactly is physical therapy and how can it help me? Our physical therapy department addresses questions that may arise for someone who has never been to physical therapy before and how it can help improve your health.
What is Physical Therapy? Is it “physical torture”? Does it hurt? These are some questions that arise when a person has never been to Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy is the use of various treatment techniques to help improve upon impairments related to illness or injury. It can help people of all ages overcome painful conditions/diseases in order to return to activities that were previously difficult. Activities such as getting dressed, cleaning, work tasks or playing sports may be difficult for many reasons.
